He married four times. He married Marilyn K. Smith in Glenmore Presbyterian Church, Glenmore, Ohio., November 1964. He married Patricia Ann Barzda in Civil Service - Salem, Ohio., March 26, 1971. Ref: VLM1

He married Mary Louise Collins in Winona Friends Church, Winona, Ohio., December 18, 1981. He married Linda Darryl Shoop in Farm on Depot Rd. Lisbon, Ohio., July 6, 1991. Linda was born January 25, 1950. Ref: VLM1 Richard graduated from the United High School in the Winona, Ohio area in May of 1960. He had enlisted in the U. S. Army while in high school for a three year period. He had his basic training at Ft. Knox, Ky.

His first marriage was to Marilyn Kay Smith which ended in divorce. There were no children from this marriage.

Seond marriage to Patricia resulted in a daughter, Kitty, before ending in divorce.

Third marriage was to Mary Louise - also ending in divorce - no children.

Fourth marriage to Linda also ended in divorce in 1996.
