He married Rachel Blake in Marshall Co, WV., June 8, 1899. Rachel was born in Greene Co, PA. August 15, 1882. Rachel died March 19, 1962 in Marshall Co, WV., at 79 years of age. Ref: DKB1 (1978) These is a birth date discrepancy here. It says Lindsay F Burley was born June 26, 1878, but it also says his older sister Olive Burley was born September 19 1878. That is only a three month difference.

(1997) Another source lists his name and birth date as actually being Lindsey Franklin Burley, b. June 15, 1878 in Marshall Co, WV. It also lists his marriage to Rachel Blake as dated May 23, 1899. The Gorby book listed it as June 8, 1889, but Rachel would have been 6 years old if that date were correct.
