He married twice. He married Caroline Debolt. Caroline was born November 23, 1884. Caroline was the daughter of Andrew Debolt. Caroline died February 24, 1947 in Woodruff, Marshall Co, WV., at 62 years of age. Ref: DKB1

He married Delpha Dayton in Marshall Co, WV., October 13, 1896. Delpha was born in Marshall Co, WV. August 30, 1879. Delpha was the daughter of David Dayton. Delpha died March 20, 1932 in Woodruff, Marshall Co, WV., at 52 years of age. (1997) Another source lists her name as actually being Delphia Diana Dayton.
