724. Ida May⁶ Gorby (Josephus⁵, John⁴, Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Bellaire, OH. March 5, 1858. Ida died August 15, 1933 at 75 years of age.

She married John Gillmore Tomlinson July 18, 1878. John was born June 12, 1856. John died March 26, 1928 at 71 years of age.

Ida May Gorby and John Gillmore Tomlinson had the following children:

1813 i. Jessie Clair⁷ Tomlinson was born in Wheeling, WV. September 11, 1881. Jessie resided :. In 1936, 260 W Park Ave, Mansfield, OH. (1936) Jessie Claire Tomlinson was educated in Wheeling, WV, graduating from High School in 1901, taught in Martins Ferry, OH, and Wheeling, then moved to Salt Lake City and taught there eight years. From there she went to Texas and worked in the US Veterans' Bureau at El Paso and Houston. She next went to Los Angeles where she was with the Title Insurance and Trust Co. At her father's illness and death she returned to Salt Lake City, later going to Detroit where she was with the J T Ryerson Co for 4 years. At present she is attending Ohio University at Columbus, and as an avocation has been working on Gorby and Tomlinson family history. Claire says this is the first time she has felt a disadvantage being single - she has no one to hang on the Gorby Family Tree.

1814 ii. Bertha Catherine Tomlinson was born October 15, 1884. She married Lewis J Walters May 1, 1915.

Bertha resided :. In 1936, 213 Ave A, Redonda Beach, CA.

+ 1815 iii. John Dana Tomlinson was born May 18, 1888.
