28. John⁴ Gorby (Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Greene Co, PA or Ohio Co, VA. 1802.

He married Rebecca Clark ABT. 1822. Rebecca was born 1800. Rebecca was the daughter of Joseph Hezekiah Clark and Nora Gorby. (1936) John and Rebecca (Clark) Gorby were 1st cousins. They had 2 sons die in infancy, and they both died quite young.

(1978) These sons were named Alfred and Eli.

John Gorby and Rebecca Clark had the following children:

Mortality info: Died in infancy.

157 ii. Eli Gorby.

Mortality info: Died in infancy.

+ 158 iii. Josephus Gorby was born April 1823.
