1437. Ethel May⁷ Gorby (Horace Finton⁶, Jacob⁵, Jonathon⁴, Joseph³, Joseph², Samuel¹) was born in Rawson, OH. July 18, 1886. Ethel died March 18, 1969 in Rawson, OH., at 82 years of age.

She married Charles C Walter November 15, 1906.

Ethel resided :. In 1936, RFD, Rawson, Hancock Co, OH. (1936) Ethel May (Gorby) Walter and her husband are farmers, their farm lying quite near her father's farm. But Ethel can do other things besides the things a farm housewife must do. She can manage a large tearoom successfully, as she has done several times. She can prepare and serve dinners and banquets to large numbers. And she can find the time to be a most gracious hostess.

She has also taken time to be quite active in hunting up material concerning her particular line for the Gorby history.

2748 i. Fairy Maxine⁸ Walter was born April 9, 1908. Fairy died September 17, 1913 at 5 years of age.

+ 2750 iii. Charles Franklin Walter was born March 30, 1918.

2751 iv. James Eldon Walter was born July 21, 1919.
