69. Daniel⁴ Gorby (Ebenezer³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Liberty Twp, Marshall Co, WV. 1818. Daniel died 1895 in Glenn Easton, WV., at 77 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Anguish in Marshall Co, WV., August 4, 1838. Elizabeth was born in Glenn Easton, WV. 1818. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Anguish and Martha Meredith. Elizabeth died 1878 in Glenn Easton, WV., at 60 years of age. Mortality info: In 1878, Died of Typhoid Fever. (1936) Daniel Gorby and Elizabeth (Anguish) Gorby were members of the Christian Church, and politically he was a Democrat. They are buried at Bethel, WV. Daniel Gorby paid 50 cents an acre for the land on which the old homestead was built, in Liberty Twp, Marshall Co, WV. He was a successful farmer, a man of medium size - 5ft 8in tall, usually weighing about 165 pounds.

Henry was born in Marshall Co, WV. ABT. 1852. Henry is the son of ? McCardle and ?. "Marshall Co Marriages 1875" says marriage performed by Abraham Richmand. Henry McCardle age 23 born Marshall Co.

This means she would have been born abt. 1854 and is a discrepancy from the Gorby Family Book which lists her birthdate as June 05, 1861.
