He married Rose Pool. Rose was born in Wileyville, WV. 1888. Rose died 1952 at 64 years of age. Her body was interred. Buried at Kirkland Cemetery, Wetzel Co, WV. Ref: GWG1-8.16.99 - Tombstone gives birth year as 1890.

Wells Gorby and Rose Pool had the following children:

2047 i. Edward⁷ Gorby.

2048 ii. Norman Gorby.

2049 iii. Paul Gorby.

2050 iv. Lena May Gorby was born July 1919.
