751. Annie May⁶ Gorby (Sylvestor Scott⁵, Thomas⁴, Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Wrights Corner, Dearborn Co, IN. January 20, 1877. Annie died February 8, 1934 in Akron, OH., at 57 years of age.

She married Arthur Monroe Calvert Dr in Central Ave M.E. Church, Indianapolis, IN., September 5, 1914. Arthur was born May 11, 1877. Arthur died September 17, 1925 in Akron, OH., at 48 years of age. Arthur resided :. South Bend, IN. (1936) Most of Annie My Gorby's school days were spent in schools and college in Franklin, IN, later taking nurse's training at the Methodist Hospital in Chicago. She nursed for many years in and around Indianapolis.

Most of her married life was spent in Cincinnati and Akron. She and her husband were both hospitable and home loving, caring to stay at home and have their friends with them. She was quite talented, writing "The Gorby Oak" and many other beautiful poems, and painting most beautiful china. Like her father she was a great lover of Nature and never was so happy as when working with her beautiful flowers or in her garden.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and the M.E. Church, while Dr Calvert was a Baptist, a Mason, and a good member of the Eastern Star. She was a good mixer, generous, charitable and interested in the sick and those in trouble. Both are buried at Franklin, IN with their little daughter.

1836 i. Sarah Kathleen⁷ Calvert was born in Indianapolis, IN. May 3, 1916. Sarah died November 9, 1917 in Cincinnati, OH., at 1 year of age.
