He married Ina Dahal ABT. 1929. In 1929 Alvin and wife Ina built a home on the 22 acres of landed owned by his father. This was the irregular piece of land. The house was built with the lumber from his fathers demolished house.

They moved to Chicago where he worked as a plumer.

His father pursuaded toem to move back to Kinistino where their children were born.

Alvin Clarence Gorby and Ina Dahal had the following children:

+ 105 i. Herbert Rudolph⁶ Gorby was born 1931.

+ 106 ii. Clifford Alvin Gorby was born 1934.

+ 107 iii. Yvonne Carol Gorby was born 1936.

108 iv. Lloyd Gorby was born 1938. He married Belle ?. Now known as Lloyd Wood. Living in Kelowna, B.C., Canada.
