1049. Burley Lee⁶ Cupp (Rachel Alice⁵ Gorby, Thomas⁴, Thomas Jeahue³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Bristol, Harrison Co, WV. June 25, 1906. Burley died July 10, 1994 in Greensburg, Westmoreland Co, PA., at 88 years of age.

He married Josephine Black Cochran in Delmont, Westmoreland Co, PA., April 6, 1944. Josephine is the daughter of Charles Cochran and Anna Summerhill. Ref: JC1-8.21.99 - Josephine Cochran Gorby taught first grade at Delmont Elementary School from the early 1950s until her retirement in 1981. She also taught Sunday school to 5 year olds at the Delmont Presbyterian Church during this same period. Ref: JC1-8.21.99

2389 ii. Robert Lee Cupp was born in Greensburg, Westmoreland Co, PA. August 3, 1947. He married Sandra Lee Halagan in Jeanette, Westmoreland Co, PA., July 3, 1969. Ref: JC1-8.21.99 Ref: JC1-8.21.99

2390 iii. Fay Ruth Cupp was born in Greensburg, Westmoreland Co, PA. December 15, 1948. Fay died October 23, 1992 in Palo Alto, CA., at 43 years of age. Ref: JC1-8.21.99 - Fay Ruth Cupp joined the Army Reserves in the mid-1970s in order to attend The Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA. There she studued Chinese. After finishing her training she served in a reserve unit and stayed in CA.

Her ashes were scattered at sea by the US Navy (per her request) in the Pacific Ocean off the Farralon Islands in the San Francisco Bay.

She was an excellent cook and excelled at her hobby of stained glass.
