He married Elizabeth Chaney. Elizabeth died November 8, 1932. (1936) In this version of the Gorby Family book, it lists Harry E Gorby, Leah Gorby and Damon Gorby as children of Asa Gorby.

(1996) In this database Leah and Damon are listed as children of Harry E because they were born in 1903 and 1915. Asa Gorby died in 1901. Harry E was born in 1881 and was married in 1901, his first child , Percy Bannen, being born in 1902.
