He married Gladys Squires September 22, 1920. Gladys's occupation:. Nurse. (1978) Jesse B Barnes lived in New Martinsville, WV. He saw extensive service overseas in WW I, worked for Gorby Bros. Grocery, as a salesman for a local lumber company and other businesses, and was an active church man.

Jesse B Barnes and Gladys Squires had the following children:
