823. Benton⁶ Jordan (Eli Thomas Jefferson⁵, Nancy⁴ Gorby, Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born July 29, 1864. Benton died 1929 in London, Shelby Co, IN., at 64 years of age.

He married Mary Ellen Hull. Mary resided :. In 1936, 720 Evergreen St, West Lafayette, IN. (1936) Benton Jordan for many years lived in London, In where he was a rural mail carrier. In his earlier life he was a teacher and served in the office of state Geologist with his father.

He became interested in both geology and archeology, having fine collections of both.

Benton Jordan and Mary Ellen Hull had the following children:

1966 i. Hal Benton⁷ Jordan. He married Wyla Sheafer.

+ 1967 ii. Helen Hull Jordan.

+ 1968 iii. Lucille Jordan.
