677. Robert Spencer Lee⁶ McKimmie (Martha⁵ Mason, Hannah⁴ Gorby, Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Franklin District of Marshall, VA. September 28, 1865. Robert died October 14, 1929 at 64 years of age.

He married twice. He married Isadora Parsons. (1980) Isadora Parsons was a grand-daughter of Joseph Parsons.

He married Ora Gay Clark. Ora was born January 6, 1878. Ora was the daughter of C Foster Clark and Martha Jane Long. Ora died March 28, 1919 at 41 years of age. (1978) Robert Spencer Lee McKimmie had spent his early years in the oil fields of WV, had a livery stable, then operated 30 teams of his own. His later years were devoted to farming, and to cutting timber, having his own saw mill.

1758 ii. Paul Henry McKimmie was born December 16, 1901. Paul died 1945 at 43 years of age.

1759 iii. Wallace Foster McKimmie was born in WV. March 22, 1903. (1978) Wallace Foster McKimmie, single, and after living in Southern California since 1925, has returned in 1978 to live in Wheeling. Served as a radio technician in the US Air Force, was a Hollywood businessman many years. Since retiring, has devoted his time to genealogy, and has added much to the histories of several families, including the data on these pages; he also sees that many of the small WV cemeteries are kept tended.

1760 iv. Thelma Harriett McKimmie was born March 29, 1905. Thelma died March 1987 at 81 years of age. She married Richard Olszta. Richard was born October 23, 1895. Richard died March 1961 at 65 years of age. Richard's occupation:. Owned Olszta Funeral Home in Wheeling for many years. Ref: SSDI (1978) The home of Thelma Harriet (McKimmie) and Richard Olszta was a haven to family members. They had no children, but were "parents to all".

1761 v. Martha Clarice McKimmie was born September 26, 1908. (1978) Has been a beauty shop operator in Wheeling, WV, since the 1930's, still patronized by many original customers, but plans retirement soon.
