112. Henry⁵ Gorby (Samuel George⁴, Joseph³, Joseph², Samuel¹) was born in Columbiana Co, OH. August 29, 1821. Henry died August 31, 1864 in Rome, GA., at 43 years of age.

He married Malinda Huff October 6, 1843. Malinda was born in VA. April 23, 1823. Malinda was the daughter of Margaret ?. Malinda died April 1, 1908 in Columbiana Co, OH., at 84 years of age. Her body was interred. Buried in Mt Zion Methodist Cemetery, Middleton Twp, Columbiana Co, OH. Ref: BK11

Ref: CEN1880 - In 1880, Malinda (Huff) Gorby and her mother Margaret Huff lived with her son Gustavus Gorby. (1936) Henry Gorby was enrolled as a Private in the 3rd Independent Battery Reg., Ohio Vol. Lt. Art., on Feb.29, 1864. for the period of 3 years, from Columbiana Co., Ohio. He was wounded at Vicksburg and died Aug. 31, 1864. at Rome, Ga.
