The Cassiday Clan
Not all of the people in this photograph have been identified.
(1)Abram Isaac Timmerman 1869-1921, (2)Etta Mae Cassiday Timmerman 1873-1960, (3)Helen Timmerman Alvord (1898-1923), (4)Merle Timmerman McCoy (1896-?), (5)Larrue E Cassiday (1843-1920), (6)Rosannah 'Rosa Jane'Gorby Cassiday (1845-1924). The others could include Rosa Jane's children Larrue, Orville, Carlyle and Myra Cassiday, and her niece Coral (Carol) Gorby.

Who are these Gorbys?
Rosannah 'Rosa Jane' Gorby Cassiday born 1845 in PA, died 1924 in WA. She married Larrue E Cassiday 1867 in IA. Her five siblings were:
Joseph W Gorby born 1856 in IA, Samuel P Gorby born 1857 in NE, Emma E Gorby Fletacher born 1859, Kate E Gorby Hines born 1865 in IA and D H Gorby.

Rosa Jane's parents were Samuel Gorby born abt 1817 in DE or PA, and Emiline Shay born 1826 in PA. Both Samuel and Emiline died at Omaha, NE 1893-1894. At this time we do not know where Rosa and her family belong on the Family Tree, but it is likely that Samuel was a grandson of Joseph and Hannah Stilley Gorby.
