239. Mary Ann⁵ Gorby (Isaac⁴, Eli³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in VA/WV. October 18, 1843. Mary died 1905 in Marshall Co, WV., at 61 years of age. Her body was interred. Buried at Fall Run Cemetery.

She married Albert Lindsay Burley. Albert was born in Ohio Co, VA/Marshall Co, WV. 1829. Albert died January 9, 1919 in Marshall Co, WV., at 89 years of age. His body was interred. Buried at Fall Run Cemetery. (1978) The story is told that once when Albert Lindsay Burley was carrying a large sum of money he was attacked by robbers. He refused to disclose its hiding place, but when they began to torture him with fire, willingly revealed its location.

(1997) Another source lists him as really being named Lindsey Alexander Burley.
