756. Sylvester LeRoy⁶ Gorby (Sylvestor Scott⁵, Thomas⁴, Job³, Thomas², Samuel¹) was born in Manchester, IN. November 22, 1890.

He married Carrie Emily Friendship in Rockport, KY., July 31, 1923. Carrie was born December 17, 1904. Carrie resided :. Cincinnati, OH. (1936) Sylvester LeRoy Gorby received his education at Franklin, IN, and Cave City, KY. Most of his life has been spent selling insurance and a part of the time real estate. He is especially good in the managerial and organization phase of the work and has held several positions of this kind in his insurance experience. He always manages to keep on the "honor roll", always classed with "upper ten".

His is a genial, kindly disposition, never being heard to speak an unkind word to anyone in the way of destructive criticism or finding fault. The world would be much happier if more of us would do the same.
